Pomegranate Society
What Is the Pomegranate Society?
Pomegranate Society brings together women who make an annual gift of $1,800–$4,999 to Jewish Federation of San Diego's Annual Campaign. Through their philanthropy, Pomegranates join a community of women committed to caring for one another and strengthening Jewish life in San Diego, Israel, and around the world.
Come Together with the Pomegranate Society
Pomegranate Society is also an opportunity to build relationships with other women who share a commitment to philanthropy and Jewish community.
Women's Philanthropy will bring Pomegranate Society members together for an annual gathering created especially for this community, offering an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and deepen relationships with one another.
Named for one of the seven species associated with the Land of Israel, the pomegranate has long held significance in Jewish tradition. Its many seeds are traditionally associated with the 613 mitzvot, or commandments, in the Torah.
