Uniting Against Antisemitism
We are witnessing an unsettling and dramatic increase in antisemitic acts, locally, nationally, and around the world. From Australia to Washington, D.C. to San Diego, it is clear that the stakes are significant when antisemitism is left unchecked and allowed to fester.
Our programs and partnerships promote advocacy, education, and community outreach as we unite to resist this rising hate. We must remain steadfast in our resolve to mitigate this crisis and build a stronger, more resilient community.

The Finest Community Coalition
Federation is a proud founding member of The Finest Community Coalition, a new and independent initiative with a community-wide approach to combating antisemitism in San Diego.
The Coalition serves as a collaborative platform for Jewish and non-Jewish leaders, organizations, and other independent initiatives to coordinate strategies and collectively respond to rising antisemitism the San Diego region. Together, we are expanding Jewish engagement with the wider San Diegan community and bolstering the fight against antisemitism.

Antisemitism Roundtable
Launched in early 2023, the Antisemitism Roundtable serves as a communal space for organizations addressing antisemitism to engage in information sharing, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop relationships that will strengthen our community’s approach to combat antisemitism.
Led and convened by our Federation, participating organizations include ADL San Diego, AJC San Diego, Hillel San Diego, Jewish Family Service San Diego, Lawrence Family JCC | JACOBS Family Campus, Leichtag Foundation, and SDRAC.

Building Allyship
Hate of any kind has no place in San Diego. Federation continues to build relationships with diverse faith and community leaders as we seek to create a united stance against prejudice.

Legislative Advocacy
Our Federation is a board member of the Jewish Public Affairs Committee of California (JPAC), which serves as the leading voice for California's Jewish community in our State Capitol. Our active participation includes advocating for their legislative agenda and helping to organize their annual Advocacy Day in Sacramento. We also champion local advocacy training, ensuring that the specific needs and interests of the San Diego Jewish community are effectively represented and heard at the state level.
