Global Ambassador Program
Federation’s Global Ambassador Program offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jewish teens to connect with their peers from global Jewish communities. Whether traveling abroad to explore other global Jewish communities or hosting an exchange here in San Diego, the Global Ambassador Program helps Jewish teens learn about each other’s cultures, create long-lasting friendships, and strengthens their sense of shared responsibility and Jewish peoplehood. Past trips have included: Sofia, Bulgaria, Budapest, Hungary and Mexico City, Mexico.
“My biggest takeaway was how Jewish teens like me have such a different way of practicing and interpreting Judaism. It was incredible to experience Jewish life in a foreign country, like Shabbat, with Jewish teens that were just like me from two other countries.” – GAP Participant
Our upcoming trip to Budapest, Hungary will take place in Summer 2026.
