Instructor: Tanja Yakovleva. Tanja, originally from Ukraine, lived and studied in Germany, Italy, and the United States. She learned Yiddish in Regensburg, Vilnius, Moscow, New York, and Tel Aviv, fell in love with it and decided to bring her passion to both academic and non-academic spheres. In 2019, she completed her Ph.D. in Slavic-Jewish Studies at the University of Regensburg and since then she teaches Yiddish for YAAANA.
