Assaf Gavron's new novel The Hilltop (Scribner 2015)is described by The Guardian as, “…an extraordinary view of contemporary Israeli society.” His lecture will introduce the audience to the setting of his novel, the Israeli settlements. Gavron read a chapter from his novel and discuss what drew him to this subject, and the acceptance of his novel in Israel and abroad.
