The Shabbos Project San Diego will hold a community-wide "Challah Make" at 6:00 p.m. Oct. 23 at Beth Jacob Congregation 4855 College Ave. San Diego, CA 92115.

This Challah Make event is for girls and women ages 12 and over. Suggested donation is $5.

Come learn about the beauty and meaning of a woman's mitzvah to make and take Challah. Join Jewish women and young ladies from across San Diego for an evening of unity and inspiration, as we knead and braid delicious challah to adorn our Shabbat tables. Learn the secret to making great Challah, create your own, and share the gift of Shabbos, warmth and great taste with others.
