Topic: Building Connections Between Christians and Jews for Israel

This talk explores how biblical interpretation has influenced anti-Semitism and how Christians and Jews can move forward to support Israel together. Sebastian Parra will share his personal Zionist journey and lessons from speaking at churches over the past two years.

Sebastian Parra was raised in a devout Christian home that loved Israel. Originally from Columbia, his family was forced to flee and seek political asylum in the United States. Sebastian was indoctrinated with Israel hatred while studying political science at Georgia State University. In 2015 he participated in InSight, a StandWithUs program that brings student government leaders to Israel, where he became a Zionist and passionate Israel advocate. Sebastian now leads StandWithUs’ Hispanic Outreach and travels the country sharing Israel’s story with Christian communities. Sebastian also serves as Youth Pastor and is currently working on a Masters Degree in theology.
