In this Yoga class, we will balance your mind and body to maintain your mental and physical fitness and to feel happy.
Enjoy our first ever in-person Shabbat with Yiddish yoga which will be broadcast on Zoom! We are meeting in La Jolla - the exact address will be provided upon registration. We will start with a yoga session taught in basic Yiddish with an English translation. Afterward, for those joining us in person, we will have Shabbat blessings followed by a potluck. If you are joining us in person, please bring a snack or a drink that can be safely shared with others!
This class's slow and gentle nature is perfect for beginners and is also great for other students who can sink deeper into their practice.
The language of instruction is Yiddish with English translation.

We would like to remind you that at YAAANA your security and health are a priority for us. For this reason, keep in mind that due to the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is quite important to follow these simple recommendations. Ensure you are fit to attend the event and refrain from attending if you have some of the following symptoms: cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, fever (>37.5oC), and sore throat, OR if you have had recent contact with an active or a suspect case. Practice good personal hygiene, (e.g. proper handwashing, proper disposal of waste, covering your mouth & nose when coughing or sneezing) Avoid physical contact (e.g. handshakes), avoid touching your face.
