From the shtetlekh of Romania to Carnegie Hall and beyond, Hot Pstromi has performed its scintillating repertoire for audiences throughout the world. What sets the klezmer band Hot Pstromi apart from the rest is much of its repertoire comes from Yale Strom’s field research conducted during the East Bloc era among the Jewish and Romani communities. Come join Elizabeth Schwartz (vocals, baritone ukelele and hand percussion), Tim McNalley (contrabass and guitar) and 2021 San Diego Music Hall of Fame inductee Yale Strom (violin) for an evening of Purim songs, stories and much more.
