Free - In loving memory of Bobbi Cherry, z"l
We Jews, especially American Jews, tend to focus on 1492. But, 1517 was also a big year. Rav Shai Cherry invites you to spend four sessions learning about the impact of the Protestant Reformation on Jews and Judaism. We’ll start the story in 1456 with the invention of the printing press and finish the story in 1670 with Spinoza’s Theological-Political Tractate. In between, we’ll discuss mysticism, ethics, and the codification of Jewish law.
