Kindness Initiative serves vulnerable people in the San Diego Jewish Community. The recent community study found that 20% of Jewish households are living at, or below, the poverty level. In partnership with Service Providers, our professional Case Managers, and trained volunteers, Kindness Initiative's mission is to reduce poverty and to strengthen lives through compassionate support.

You can help achieve this mission by joining as a volunteer. Volunteers are the backbone of the organization and will provide a unique and substantial opportunity for making a difference and changing lives for the better. Opportunities include resource specialists, administrative support, assisting at the kindnessG'MACH warehouse, fundraising, and helping at various events.
