Jewish Wisdom & the Discussions on Reproductive Rights

11:00AM - 1:00PM

With the latest news surrounding the U.S. Supreme Court decision to not block Texas' new abortion law, the topic of reproductive rights is at the forefront of many Americans' minds.

Melton is proud to offer a free session on this topic to help frame and understand the complex issue from various Jewish perspectives. Jewish Wisdom & the Discussions on Reproductive Rights, will take a close look at abortion as it is addressed in Jewish law and ethics, drawing on ancient writings and modern voices that have long sought to understand, deliberate, and guide Jews as to how to handle this challenging topic. Join Rabbi Lori Koffman of Park Avenue Synagogue in New York, for a stimulating and timely presentation on Thursday, September 23 at 2:00pm ET.

Meeting the Moment with Melton is a new learning opportunity designed to respond to timely topics. Current events are an opportunity for learning, and for Melton to bring enriching, Jewish knowledge to all who seek it.
