Speaker: Ido Aharoni, Consul General of Israel in New York 

Ido Aharoni assumed the post of Consul General of Israel in New York in February of 2011 after serving as acting Consul General since August 2010. Ido has brand management expertise as the former Head of Israel’s Brand Management Team, in addition to his experience in various positions in the Israeli government, including Senior Advisor to Israel's Foreign Minister and Vice Prime Minister, in charge of media and public affairs and Policy advisor to the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem for five directors-general. He has been a member of Israel’s Foreign Service since 1991, and is a sought after speaker on all topics related to Israel.
