The Jewish Community Foundation is excited to introduce you to giv4 climate san diego, a new way to support local nonprofits having an impact in San Diego around climate change. In partnership with climate experts, we curated a fund of nonprofits working on (1) immediate physical impact; (2) advocacy and justice impact; and, (3) educational impact.
Each month, we tell the story of one of these nonprofits and help donors understand the complexities of this area. Donors will also have access to site visits, volunteer opportunities, and educational resources.
Our giv4 homelessness initiative had over $1.4M in impact in less than eighteen months and helped promote greater understanding of the nuances of this complicated cause. We look forward to taking donors on a similar journey around local solutions to climate change.
