Throw out the rules when Billy Jonas hits the stage! It's a musical conversation … a sonic celebration … a splendiferous gathering of old and young, because at a Billy Jonas show, the ensemble is … everyone. A rare performer who can engage both young and adult audiences, Billy starts us off with a family workshop making instruments from household “trash,” and leads us into an interactive performance mixing conventional instruments (guitar, bass, marimba) with homemade creations --among them buckets and barrels, keys and cans, bells and body! Billy’s Jewish heritage and work at Temple Beth Ha Tephila in Asheville NC, have inspired a host of original songs, as well as a repertoire of standards and straightforward music that is accessible to anyone, regardless of cultural background. Jonas has received multiple awards including a First Place/Gold from AFIM (American Federation of Independent Musicians), and a Parent's Choice Gold as well as Parents Choice Awards and a New York Times "Best" listing.

Child Cost: $12

Note: Register number of adults with purchase.

Workshop (most suitable for ages 3-8) at 3:30 P.M; Concert at 4:00 PM
