Join Emerging Leaders on Tuesday, April 17 to learn about the many ways that JFS is helping older adults in our community with dinner, drinks, and good conversation.

We will watch a short documentary about aging and isolation and hear from JFS Aging and Wellness expert, Aviva, as she walks us through a day in the life at the Balboa Avenue Older Adult Center. Learn about the vibrant community she has created and hear from Matt, a Bikur Holim (friendly visitor) volunteer, as he shares his experiences and highlights the special relationships he has built with the older adults.

You will also have the opportunity to make a card for an older adult client, and find out more about how to get involved in helping older adults age with dignity in the homes and communities they love.
