Biennale and Brunch: An Intimate Exploration of Watershed Moments

Sunday December 2nd / 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM / Pay-What-You-Can (Valued at $36/person)

P lease join The Hive at Leichtag Sunday Commons for a unique glimpse into one of Israel’s most exciting art exhibitions as it travels to Encinitas, CA. The Jerusalem Biennale is dedicated to exploring the spaces in which contemporary art and the Jewish world of content intersect. It is a platform for present-day professional artists and curators to show works and present exhibitions that refer to Jewish thought, spirit, tradition or experience.

The 2018 Exhibit theme, Watershed, explores the way we think about ourselves and the way we split and converge as individuals and groups. Both in Hebrew ("Kav Parashat Hamayim") and in English, Watershed is used to describe a moment of important twist - an event that changed the course of history.

Gather on the Farm House Patio for a brunch with Leichtag Foundation’s Director of Jewish Engagement Chaya Gilboa and Biennale founder Rami Ozeri for an exploration of how the themes of Watershed Moments applies to our life here in North County San Diego and in the city of Jerusalem.
