"Join us to explore the lives and art of four amazing artists. This time we will cover a broad spectrum from Leonardo da Vinci and the History of Renaissance in Italy, the intriguing art of Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo and the history of Mexico, the hypnotic art of the tormented Vincent Van Gogh and the genius/crazy art of Salvador Dali and the surrealism movement. The class, a four weekly sessions, will also touch on the Jewish aspect of these artists. As before, all the lectures put in perspective the artists' personal life, their artistic style and how it is positioned relative to other art movements of the time, and world historical events that influenced the artist and the world of art.

A unique artist and musician trapped in the body of an engineer, Guri has been painting in watercolors for over 25 years. Born in Israel, Guri moved to the United States 28 years ago. With his distinctively strong and brilliant watercolors, Guri made a name for himself as an artist in Israel, Denver Colorado, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, California where he participated in numerous shows, exhibitions and galleries."
