What is Yiddish?
Wait, isn’t it dead?

Originally from Poland, Jana holds a Master of Arts degree in Polish Philology and Jewish Studies from the University of Wrocław. In 2017, she moved to San Diego and launched the Yiddish Arts and Association of North America (YAAANA) – a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Yiddish language and culture by offering low-cost Yiddish language classes, theater workshops, song workshops, lectures, and Jewish holiday celebrations to the broader community.
