The San Diego Jewish community’s ability to address the needs of the Jewish poor is significantly limited due to the lack of community data, difficulty accessing and navigating resources, and a Jewish community that is not networked to support those struggling to make ends meet.
Federation’s role in addressing Jewish Poverty is to convene our communities’ agencies and leaders to better understand our community and mitigate shortcomings in the services provided.
