Saturday October 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Exhibition Hall at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. We will together, as a community, enjoy the multi-sensory Havdalah ceremony employing our faculties of speech and hearing, sight, smell and taste to define the boundaries between the sacred Shabbat and the new week. Starting with the moving entry of our young children holding lights/candles representing the future of our community, a world class rendition of the Havdalah service and a fun community concert, hora dancing and surprise entertainers, we will celebrate with the rest of the world another end to a special Shabbat. We will taste wine or grape juice in a “Kiddush” cup, the pleasant scent of Havdalah spices in a complementary spice box with a braided candle. Then we will mix with friends and family while being entertained with a wide range of music. Kosher food will be available. Join in the celebration -
