We are incensed, saddened, and grieving after a terrorist repeatedly drove a truck into a group of young Israelis at a popular Jerusalem tourist spot, killing four and injuring at least 16 more.

This violence is an assault not only on civility, on our people, and on peace-loving people across the world. We call on the entire international community to condemn this cowardly attack.

Today, we send our most heartfelt condolences to the victims' families and pray for the full and speedy recovery of those injured.

We pray for Israel. We pray for peace.
