Jewish Community Day at Petco Park

On Sunday, May 17th, more than 200 Jewish San Diegans went out to the ball game for Jewish Community Day at Petco Park. The full day of fun kicked off with free Kosher hotdogs, Padres giveaways, and live entertainment by Craig Parks. In the afternoon, the crowd headed into the ballpark to watch the San Diego Padres host the Washington Nationals. While the Padres didn’t win, the families, young adults, and nearly 20 Hillel students watching enjoyed the up-close view of the game. In the ninth inning, every Jewish Community Day attendee was invited to come down to the field for a post-game running of the bases.
