Imagine an afternoon where the energy of Tel Aviv meets San Diego sunshine, where generations dance to the same beat, and where music, food, and culture come alive for everyone. Get ready for a vibrant celebration of Israel’s 78th Independence Day! Enjoy live Israeli music that moves you, local artists adding their own flair, and an atmosphere where friends, old and new, gather over shared plates and shared songs.
Taste the flavors of Israel and let them tell their story. Dive into hands-on cultural experiences for all ages, from Israeli dancing and music to interactive activities that spark curiosity and fun. This is a celebration for everyone, a day where families, friends, and neighbors connect, celebrate heritage, and soak in the energy, rhythm, and joy of Israel.
Jewish Federation of San Diego, the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, and Jewish Community Foundation invite you to mark your calendars, bring your curiosity, and join us for an unforgettable day of music, culture, and connection. Celebrate, dance, taste, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
This program is proudly supported by the Israel Engagement Fund: A JCC Association of North America Program Accelerator and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs.
