Etgarim, which means challenges in Hebrew, was founded in 1995 by disabled IDF veterans and rehabilitation professionals with the mission to empower, promote and socially integrate people with disabilities through outdoor sports. FIDF has partnered with
Etgarim to help serve disabled IDF veterans by providing activities which improve motor, cognitive, emotional, and social skills, producing far-reaching effects across all aspects of the lives of those living with disabilities.
