About the Israeli-American Council:
The mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens: the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generations, the American Jewish community and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel.

 

IAC Eitanim is a leadership and entrepreneurship program that brings together Jewish and Israeli-American teens. Leading entrepreneurs and senior executives mentor teens trough an immersive, innovative, project-based learning experience that strengthens participants’ connection to Israel and Jewish identity. Throughout the program, teens develop and improve their soft skills, while gaining real-world entrepreneurial experience that will give them tools to thrive in school and beyond.

 

Job Purpose:
The IAC is seeking for an IAC Eitanim Program Manager who will facilitate the sessions including planning, adjusting, connecting with parents around each session, communicating with teens, and maintaining a WhatsApp group with them. This is a 15 hours per week position and he/she will report to the Regional Director.

 

Duties include and are not limited to:

-Guide & lead groups toward achieving a common goal.
-Oversee all outreach & registration processes in their region.
-Facilitate sessions including pre-session prep.
-Submit session summaries & reviews.
-Manage all operational requirements of each Eitanim group in their region.
-Work closely with the regional team to ensure the successful execution of the program.
-Assist in coordinating expert talks, seminars & tours for the Eitanim groups.
-Maintain communications with all program partners, including mentors, parents, and the regional community.
-Must participate in all IAC Eitanim staff meetings & training, as well as in National events (National Hackathon + IAC National Summit Eitanim Track).
-Professionally represent the IAC.
-Facilitate all program sessions including keeping attendance records & post-session summaries
-Send follow-up tasks to the group.
-Work closely with the regional team, to ensure the successful execution of the program.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

-Experience in working with teens & managing educational groups, Tsofim, after-school or similar.
-Solid social and interpersonal skills.
-Strong connection to both Israeli and American identities.
-Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products and social networking tools.
-Good operational & administrative management skills.
-Knowledge, understanding and experience in startup & innovation / private sector business a big plus.
-Experience-based learning knowledge a plus.
-Creative, Energetic and Proactive.
-Experience in the Israeli and/or Jewish sector.
-Highly efficient and organized.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Speaks, reads and writes in English & Hebrew.
