SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE

Women's Philanthropy is committed to being involved in the San Diego community and participating in various mitzvah projects. In previous years, the committee has joined forces with "Habitat for Humanity" helping build homes for needy families in the county; entertained seniors at the Seacrest Village Retirement Communities; assembled over 75 Chanukah Boxes which were distributed to needy families through the Jewish Family Service; and helped cover up unwanted graffiti through the City of San Diego, just to name a few of the programs they have been involved with.
