The United Jewish Federation of San Diego County has served as the central address of San Diego County's Jewish community for more than 65 years. Today, the UJF provides the critical resources that bring food, refuge, health care, education and emergency assistance to thousands of San Diegans and 2 million Jews around the world. Read our Mission Statement.

The United Jewish Federation Campaign
The Annual Campaign is the lifeline of our Jewish community.  Help change the world by making a gift to the UJF's Annual Campaign and by becoming involved in UJF volunteer, educational and networking opportunities. Funds raised are distributed to local beneficiary agencies and to United Jewish Communities, which coordinates life-sustaining and life-enhancing services for Jews in Israel and 60 countries around the world. For more information, contact the Campaign Department at (858) 571-3444.

Women's Division
The Women's Division of the United Jewish Federation of San Diego County supports and enhances Jewish community life through fundraising, educational and outreach programs.  It inspires women to devote their time and financial resources to the needs of Jews locally, globally and in Israel. Opportunities for education, community outreach, personal enrichment,  leadership development and tours and trips to Israel are all found within our framework. We invite you to get involved and come make a difference in our community.  For more information, please contact Women's Division at (858) 571-3444.

Community Allocations Process
The flip side of federated giving is the communal distribution of the funds raised. Through a process involving more than 100 community volunteers, a network of committees allocates the fruits of the Annual Campaign. The Israel and Overseas Committee determines how UJF dollars can most effectively benefit Jews in need overseas. The UJF also provides unrestricted allocations to local agencies and schools, and it supports more than 20 national Jewish organizations. For more information, contact Planning and Allocations at (858) 571-3444.

Community Relations Committee
The Community Relations Committee (CRC) formulates policy and programs for community action on a broad array of Jewish issues and works cooperatively with the media, government, communal organizations and civic organizations in the Jewish and general communities. For more information, contact CRC at (858) 571-3444.

Community Outreach Program
The Community Outreach Program offers a dynamic menu of educational, social and cultural activities for adults and families. The Community Outreach Program answers hundreds of calls each year on the who, what, when, where and why of Jewish San Diego. For more information, contact Outreach at (858) 571-3444.

UJF Israel Center, LLC
The Israel Center has been established as a "living bridge" between San Diego and Israel.  Under the guidance of our Community Shaliach (Israeli emissary), the Center provides one-stop shopping for all Israel-experience travel, educational and volunteer programs. It is the focal point for all Israel-related programs in San Diego County. Need based scholarships are awarded to teens and young adults participating in Israel-experience programs.  For more information, contact the Israel Center at (858) 571-3444.

Young Adult Division
The Young Adult Division (YAD) reaches out to married and single Jewish adults (ages 25-45) to provide volunteer, social, educational and charitable activities in an effort to strengthen our Jewish community locally, in Israel and throughout the world. YAD is the "place to be" for the coolest social events, interesting speaker programs and meaningful social action projects. Connect, get involved and make a difference!
