Federation Secures Federal Funds For SeniorsEnhanced elder care is expected to take a big step forward as President Obama signs the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010. The legislation, passed by Congress this week, contains many funding provisions spearheaded by The Jewish Federations of North America. Funding includes cutting-edge programs such as Community Innovations for Aging In-Place (CIAIP). CIAIP allows seniors to remain in their homes and communities as they age.
