Federation is excited to announce Israel teen Trip 2010! This 18-day trip will be a positive, life changing experience at a great price. For teens enrolled in grades 10-12, the trip will include sightseeing, education and volunteer opportunities. In the words of one parent: “for my daughter it was a life changing experience. Sha’ar HaNegev

In 1998, Federation formed a partnership with the Ibim Student Village and the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council, located near the Gaza Strip in Israel. Click Here


Shaliach Updates

A Shaliach is an emissary, sent to San Diego by the Jewish Agency for Israel at the invitation of the Jewish Federation. For two to three years, the Shaliach works with people and organizations in the assigned community at large. Click Here

Jacobs International Teen Leadership Institute (JITLI)

Created in 2000, the Institute realizes the vision of its founders to create a program dedicated to the education and leadership development of young people.  The ultimate goal is to create a partnership between the communities of San Diego , Sha’ar HaNegev, Segev Shalom and Lakiya.
