Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC)

One Happy Camper (OHC), a grants program to incentivize first time campers, was conceived with the singular mission of increasing the number of children benefiting from the transformative experience of Jewish summer camp. Jewish Federation of San Diego County is one of nearly 30 Federations across the country partnering with FJC and four national camp movements, and nineteen camps to make Jewish summer resident camp a reality for many more of our children. Hillel of San Diego

Hillel of San Diego, accredited by Hillel: the Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, serves an estimated 5000 Jewish undergraduate and graduate students at institutions of higher education across San Diego County. Students from all backgrounds are invited to participate in Jewish life on campus. Social, cultural, educational, and community service programs provide opportunities for students to build relationships with each other and develop Jewish community. Hillel of San Diego is committed to building a vibrant Jewish campus presence and to involving the maximum number of university age Jews in ways that foster a lasting commitment to Jewish life. Jewish Family Service

Jewish Family Service was founded in 1918 by a consortium of women’s clubs who sought to address the myriad human needs of the time. Today, JFS has grown into one of San Diego’s premier human care service organizations serving more than 30,000 people annually with 12 locations throughout San Diego County and three in the Coachella Valley. Ken Jewish Community

The Ken Jewish Community was established 25 years ago to be the place where Latin Jewish families find friends for life who share their beliefs, values and traditions. Through a wide range of educational, leadership, social, performing arts, and sports programs and activities, its members strengthen their Jewish identity, build a connection with Israel, and maintain their Latin culture. Lawrence Family JCC

The Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, JACOBS FAMILY CAMPUS connects the community to Jewish heritage, identity, experiences and values to ensure the continuity and vibrancy of the Jewish community. Moishe House

Founded in 2006, Moishe House has quickly grown from a concept among four friends in Oakland seeking to build Jewish community for young adults in their 20s to thriving centers of Jewish life in 32 cities spanning 10 countries on five continents. In the past four years, Moishe House has become an international phenomenon in serving the post-college young adult Jewish population, the single greatest underserved constituency. The Jewish Federation of San Diego County and the Jewish Community Foundation established Moishe House San Diego in October 2010 with generous support from the Leichtag Family Foundation, Galinson Family Foundation and Feuerstein Family.
